Are you one of those people who gets affected by a single musical note?... I am. Music sets my mood everyday. I always have the upper song to get me going or to simply wake me up (right now its Halo or some Lady Gaga song).

I just love how Hale gets me back in time like an instant time machine...back when everything was so carefree (college)!

I haven't tried listening to their whole album but somehow their melody is so soothing that you won't mind leaving your player on.


"I Can See Clearly Now" - look for the version sung by the blind kids in the movie Igor

Well if you watched the movie, you'll feel optimistic but at the same time insulted (if you are blind...but...just go with optimistic).

Craig David - Insomnia -- a good track during sleepless nights, singing in the shower or a loong roadtrip.

Will.I.Am - It's A New Day -- You'll feel like Obama and shout, Yes, We can!

Bliss - Kissing - perfect emote song or whatever floats your boat :D

Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat - Lucky - perfect for cruising (by highway or by sea)

Boyce Avenue (cover) - No Air -- a good song for those "I'm gonna soak myself in the rain coz I can't take it anymore and I want to cry..." moments.

Lady Gaga - Poker Face -- some songs will never wear out your tastebuds, like this one. Good song when playing Poker or just chilling in the club or showing your moves on the dance floor (Lady Gaga songs are way way more hyped up when you are drunk. I think they are meant for that purpose.)

One Republic - Stop and Stare -- a good background song when you want to go on a roadtrip and think about things or just walking around to clear your head.

for some unknown reason I found myself playing this song over and over. Somehow, it has that universal thing that makes you feel good whether you are with someone or single, young or old...just timeless... I hope it lifts you up too! :D

after a while, a lot of moments that passed by, what ifs, trials, high times and downtimes, depression frustration, exhaustion, excitement, fear, annd all the things you can think of...

Paano nabuo ang blog na ito...

Bago ko punuin ang screen ng mga "obrang" nasa isip ko pa lang...isang paggunita sa nakaraan, kasalukuyan at sa hinaharap

Nobyembre 2008, buwan ng aking kaarawan, naisip kong gumawa ng raket, isang kumikitang kabuhayan na alam kong magtutulak sakin sa rurok ng tagumpay (over acting ang thought na ito)...inisip ko ang ilang mga bagay na gustong gusto kong gawin at alam kong masusustain ng aking fickleminded na utak.

Sumagi sa isip ko ang pangarap kong makapag charity work...naisip ko bakit hindi ako gumawa ng art at ibenta ito with some parts of the proceeds donated to various charities o kung hindi man ay yung gigising sa mga tao para mainspire sila na habulin ang kanilang mga pangarap.

Sa mga panahon na yun, nawawala ako bilang tao. Nanganganib makain ng sistema pero pilit na pinipigilan ito. Di inalintana ang ideyang ilang taon na ang nakalipas mula nung ako ay nagpinta. (Habang tumatanda, nadivert sa freestyle poetry at later on photography at dj-ing kuno ang pagkahilig ko sa art).

Noon pa, alam kong kakaiba na ang approach ko sa pagexpress ko ng aking sarili, at alam kong kung sa abstract way ko maeexpress ang aking mga saloobin mas magiging mabuting tao ako, mas mayabong, mas matayog ang liliparin ng aking mga pangarap.

Dumaan ang ilang buwan pero wala akong nasimulan sa kadahilanang nabubuhay ako sa isang mundong nawalan na ako ng emosyon. Hanggang isang araw ngayong taong 2009, naglakas loob akong bumili ng art materials sa National at SM even if I was kinda short in cash... Inisip ko...kung hindi ngayon?... kailan pa?

Kaya nagsimula ako kahit sabog ang mga ideya ko, nangangalawang ang art skills...pero pinilit kong magpinta... alam kong matagal pa bago ko maiprisinta sa buong mundo ang aking mga obra at bago may bumili nito pero nangangarap akong balang araw, this dream would take off...

Kasalakuyan, oil painting pa lang ang nasisimulan ko, pero habang lumilipas ang panahon, sana makagawa pako ng ibang forms... na makakapag inspire sa mga tao.

Ang pagbabalik loob ko sa art ay isa ring paraan para maka cope ako sa stress ng aking trabaho na tuluyan nang kumain sa akin. Ang pagbabalik loob ay hudyat ng aking renewed life. At alam kong hindi lamang ako nahihibang pag sinabi kong gusto kong pagyamanin ang aking art side, in my case, it's not just a whim..it's a need.

Sa webspace na ito, makikita niyo ang mga pangarap ko...ang mga ideyang nakakapagpalaya sa akin, at hopefully ang ideyang makakatulak din sa iyo (oo ikaw) na habulin ang iyong mga pangarap, dahil ang buhay ay hindi tumitigil at hindi impossible ang mangarap, tao lang ang naglilimit sa kanyang sarili.
